I am homegrown in BC, born and raised in Vancouver. After many years of interest in martial arts and movement, I took my first yoga class in 2006 and was immediately hooked on the postural forms of the asana practice and mind science that came with Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa.
In 2012, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in Frankfurt (Germany) and two years later my 500-hour advanced teacher training in New York. I have been teaching yoga at different yoga studios and corporate fitness facilities for the last five years in Germany. At the beginning of this year (2017), I relocated back to Canada and now I am enjoying sharing my teaching experience back home.
My classes are genuine, supportive, fun, and always in a loving environment. For me, yoga is not about performance or competition. Yoga is a form of self-study that helps us to become more aware of ourselves and of the things we do every day. Patience and perseverance are they keys to a strong-grounded yoga practice.
I teach Hatha Yoga, Hatha Yoga Flow, Vinyasa Yoga, Budokon Yoga, Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga. Come visit me in one of my classes and share your practice with me. I am looking forward to seeing you on the mat.
